Think an answer is wrong? Tell us.
Every report is rerun against the live API and the IPD-IMGT/HLA reference data it names, and a person confirms any error before it is published. A confirmed error is fixed, released and listed on the Trust page with the release that fixed it. You get a link to follow your report from received to resolved.
Report
What did the API say, and what did you expect?
The most useful report is the exact input you sent and the answer you got back. Your systems can file the same report with POST /v1/report (see the API reference). Reporting is free and never counts against your quota.
JavaScript off, or rather write? hello@hlaverify.com reaches the person who built the engine.
What happens to a report
- Received. You get an id and a link to this page that shows its status.
- Investigating. The input is rerun against the live API and checked against the IPD-IMGT/HLA files for the release it names; a person confirms the finding.
- Confirmed and fixed, or expected behavior with the reason. A confirmed error is fixed, released and listed on Trust with the release that fixed it.
Paid tiers carry their own response times: Lab is answered the next business day. Reports from the free beta are read just as carefully, in order.
What is kept
What you typed in the form, the time, the release that was live and the country Cloudflare reports for the connection, stored apart from API keys. Not your IP address. Your email is used only to reply about this report. The status link shows the status and our note, never your input or your address. The privacy policy lists every field.
